Congratulations to Prof. Efrat Bron-Harlev on her appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor

We would like to congratulate Professor Efrat Bron-Harlev, CEO of the Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel, on her appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor in the Hospital Directors track at the School of Public Health, Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University.
Prof. Bron-Harlev obtained her M.D. from Ben-Gurion University and then became board certified in pediatrics and pediatric intensive care, after a fellowship in pediatric intensive care. She performed a fellowship in medical administration, followed by a Master’s in Public Administration at the Harvard University Kennedy School as a Wexner Fellow, took part in classes for the Master’s program in Public Health and Administration at Bar Ilan University and finally, became board certified in medical administration. She is a graduate of the Directors Course at the Hebrew University with the Israeli Medical Association, and a graduate of Cohort 3 of the 8400 Bio-Health-Tech Network. Prof. Bron-Harlev became CEO of the Schneider Children’s Medical Center in 2020. Prof. Bron-Harlev is recognized as a pioneer in pediatric innovation and for leading this field at the Schneider Children’s Medical Center. She is deeply involved in developing the hospital’s processes, strategy and infrastructure, and oversaw the completion of the hospital’s new building, leveraging the expansion to ensure world-class clinical leadership and research and a high level of satisfaction among patients and their families.
Prof. Bron-Harlev has had multiple leadership administrative roles, including the Assistant to the CEO of the Rabin Medical Center, head of Medical Management Department at Beilinson/Schneider Hospitals, head of the Department for Ethics in Health Management at Haifa University, Deputy Director of the Schneider Children's Medical Center, Medical Director of the North District of the Clalit HMO and Medical Director of Beilinson hospital. On a national level, Prof. Bron-Harlev is a member of the National Pediatric Council of the Israel Ministry of Health, a member of the Medical Board and Board of Directors of United Hatzalah of Israel, and a member of the National Medical Logistics Council of the Israel Ministry of Health. On an international level, Prof. Bron-Harlev is a member of the American Public Health Association, the European and the American Children's Hospital Organization (ECHO, CHIEF), and the European Association of Hospital Management.
Prof. Bron-Harlev’s appointment is as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Hospital Directors track at the School of Public Health, Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University. This track enables senior healthcare leaders to contribute their extensive practical experience to teaching, mentoring, and training the next generation of health system leaders.
