Faculty positions for Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (For the academic year 2026-2027)
The Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at Tel Aviv University seeks outstanding candidates to fill tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor and Associate Professor.
The full-time position offered is available beginning July 1 or October 1, 2026.
Job Description:
Successful candidates are expected to carry out independent competitive experimental and/or computational research programs, combined with high-level and innovative teaching in graduate and medical school programs.
Areas of expertise include but are not limited to, biochemistry, bio-nanotechnology, cell biology, developmental biology, genetics, genomics, immunology, microbiology, neurobiology (cellular and molecular), pathology, regenerative medicine, bioinformatics, pharmacology, and physiology. A focus on health and disease is encouraged in areas including aging, cancer, genetic, inflammatory, infectious, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Job requirements:
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D + Ph.D. degree.
Postdoctoral training is required in the field of biomedical sciences.
Ability to carry out independent competitive research programs in experimental and/or computational research.
High level lecturing and teaching skills

The Faculties of Medical & Health Sciences and Life Sciences at Tel Aviv University seeks outstanding candidates to fill a joint tenure-track faculty position at the level of Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. The laboratory will be located at Tel Aviv University’s Felsenstein Medical Research Center at the Rabin Medical Center.

We have a special interest in medical immunology. Areas of expertise also include, but are not limited to, biochemistry, bio-nanotechnology, cell biology, developmental biology, genetics, genomics, immunology, microbiology, neurobiology (cellular and molecular), pathology, regenerative medicine, pharmacology, and physiology. A focus on health and disease is encouraged in areas including aging, cancer, genetic, inflammatory, infectious, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases.
