Tenure-Track Faculty Position at the Department of Health Promotion, School of Public Health at the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position (Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor), beginning October 1, 2026.
Job description
We seek an outstanding and motivated researcher to join our growing Department. The
successful candidate is expected to establish and lead an independent, competitive research
program in the field of nutrition, with a focus on clinical nutrition and/or nutritional data
science, as well as to contribute to graduate and postgraduate teaching and student
mentoring. The position is part of a broader strategic effort to strengthen our research and
academic capacity in evidence-based nutritional science and its applications to health
promotion, chronic disease prevention, and public health.
Job requirements
- RD and Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in Nutrition, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related
discipline.
- Postdoctoral training (preferably abroad); however, not a prerequisite.
- Demonstrated research excellence through peer-reviewed publications, competitive funding, and prior teaching experience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and to mentor graduate students.
- Advantage for candidates with experience in clinical nutrition trials, dietary
assessment, biostatistics or large-scale data analytics in nutritional epidemiology.
