The Goldschleger Eye Research Institute

The Goldschleger Eye Research Institute focuses on studying the visual system in health and disease. The Institute is part of the School of Medicine, located at The Goldschleger Eye Institute at Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer. This location enables close collaboration between basic and clinical research.

Our research focuses on development of antioxidants to treat neurodegenerative diseases, neuronal degeneration and the neuronal basis for genetic epilepsy and autism.
