Dr. Rachel Sarig Globes Promising Young 2018

Dr. Rachel Sarig is an orthodontic expert and researcher of evolution of the tooth from the Dan David Center for the Study of Human History in the Faculty of Medicine and curator of the Tel Aviv University Museum of Natural History. Throughout the course of her doctoral dissertation, Dr. Sarig studied 4,000 skulls.

She is one of the few researchers in the world working on orthodontics in the clinic, as well as studying dental systems of the past- both from ancient and modern history. This connection yields insights only possible through working in both fields.

Recently, Dr. Sarig was selected as one of the 40 promising young people in 2018, as a part of a special project for the Globes website
