Prof. Sivia Barnoy promoted to Full Professor

Prof. Barnoy is now a Full Professor in the Department of Nursing, School of Health Professions. She completed her nursing degree at the Hebrew University with distinction. She then obtained an M.Sc. (graduated with distinction) and Ph.D. at the Department of Human Genetics of the School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Barnoy served as the department chair between 2010-2014. Prof. Barnoy works in the area of nursing genetics and information technology. She is active internationally in genetic nursing in the International Society for Nurses in Genetics, who in 2018 granted her the Founder Award for Excellence in Research. She was nominated as the Israeli delegate in the Global Genomic Nursing Alliance Initiative.
