European Research Council Grant awarded to Eric Shifrut
Dr. Eric Shifrut among six Tel Aviv University researchers awarded ERC grant
Dr. Shifrut holds a joint position at the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, and is a principal investigator at the Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Dr. Shifrut completed his graduate studies under the mentorship of Prof. Nir Friedman at the Weizmann Institute of Science, mapping the TCR repertoire in health and disease. For his postdoctoral training, he joined Alex Marson at UCSF and Gladstone Institutes to pioneer CRISPR discovery platforms to study primary human T cells. Shifrut’s laboratory is located at the Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, where he works on immuno-oncology and cell engineering. Read more about the ERC grant here.
