Mind-IL Biomed Symposium: From Scientific Discovery to Patient Care
Translational Medicine: From Discovery to Patient Impact
How can scientific discoveries be translated into better patient care? This question brought together researchers with PhDs, physician-scientists, clinical staff, and medical residents at the Mind-IL Biomed symposium, held at the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History at Tel Aviv University.
Leading researchers from Israel and abroad presented their work in two scientific sessions: "Translational Oncology: From Cancer Biology to Precision Treatment" and "Translational Placental Biology: From Single-Cell Resolution to Maternal Disease." A panel discussion, "Beyond the Lab: Entrepreneurship in Biomedicine," explored the path from scientific research to innovation.
One of the highlights of the event was the "Rising Stars" symposium, where outstanding postdoctoral researchers presented their work to an audience of researchers from both basic and clinical research.
Discussions throughout the day brought together researchers from different disciplines and created opportunities for new collaborations, with a shared goal: translating scientific discoveries into improved diagnostics, treatments, and patient care.
We thank all the speakers, panelists, poster presenters, and participants for their contributions to the symposium.
