Prof. Neta Erez awarded Kadar Family Award for Outstanding Research

Prof. Neta Erez, Department of Pathology in the School of Medicine, began her academic career at the Faculty of Agriculture, Hebrew University where she received her B.Sc. She then proceeded to complete her M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institute of Science in the field of Molecular Cell Biology and cancer research.

Supported by a fellowship from the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), Dr. Erez performed her postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco, working in the field of tumor biology.

She is a board member of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and the Metastasis Research Society (MRS) and is Vice President of the Israeli Society for Cancer Research (ISCR). Prof. Erez serves as Vice Dean for Teaching Innovation and

Mentoring at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
