Research interests include: 

• The prevalence of tricuspid regurgitation in patients with degenerative mitral valve disease. Exploring the mechanism of tricuspid regurgitation in primary pulmonary hypertension compared to severe LV dysfunction with secondary pulmonary hypertension.
• Examining the endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) in various valve pathologies: bicuspid aortic valve, mitral valve prolapse vs. flail mitral valve (canine model)
