Tel Aviv University Researchers Honored as Senior Members of the U.S. National Academy of Inventors

Congratulations to Prof. Noam Shomron and Prof. Daniel Offen on this distinguished achievement.

At a special ceremony, the title of Senior Member of the U.S. National Academy of Inventors (NAI) was awarded to Prof. Noam Shomron and Prof. Daniel Offen, who were selected this year, as well as to Prof. Lihi Adler-Abramovich, who was selected last year and formally received the recognition this year.

The Senior Member designation is awarded to leading researchers whose innovations and inventions have made a tangible impact on society, transforming groundbreaking scientific ideas into practical applications that improve lives. The selection of Prof. Shomron, Prof. Offen, and Prof. Adler-Abramovich reflects their outstanding scientific achievements, their contributions to advancing research and innovation, and their impact through patents, technology commercialization, and translational research.

This recognition is part of a broader achievement for Tel Aviv University. This year, a total of ten researchers from the university were elected to the U.S. National Academy of Inventors.
