About the Center- 

SCRM (Sagol Center for Regenerative Medicine) headed by Prof Benny Dekel, is an advanced Interdisciplinary platform that utilizes the basic principles of regenerative biology and personalized medicine towards clinical translation. The Center aims to accelerate research that can lead to the development of groundbreaking therapeutic treatments and technologies.  

 

Call for applications-

To advance collaborations between TAU scientists, physicians, and PhD researchers, the SCRM research fund will open 2 funding tracks:  up to 3 Collaboration grants of $120K and up to 5 Starting research grants of $25K, supporting fundamental and translational research that emphasizes novel and innovative ideas in the field of regenerative medicine.

 

Preference will be given to proposals in the regenerative medicine filed that combine basic research with an innovative clinical or technology solution to create breakthrough interdisciplinary opportunities in a wide variety of diseases in the regenerative medicine filed. 

 

Eligibility-

TAU members are eligible to apply in collaboration with a TAU member from other faculties or schools, or with one of the TAU-affiliated hospitals or HMOs.
