Prof. Yale Cohen has joined the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences as an affiliated faculty member!
Prof. Cohen is a Gabriel Tucker Professor with tenure at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery, has secondary appointments in Neuroscience and Bioengineering, and is Director of the Hearing Sciences Center. He currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Research Facilities & Resources
Prof. Cohen received the Jane M. Glick Graduate Student Teaching Award, the ULAR Director’s Award and the APAN Leadership Award most recently. His publications range from Cell Reports to Nature Neuroscience to Hearing Research, as well as a book and reviews. His NIH-NIDCD funding is concentrated on auditory perception and the ventral auditory pathway. He has mentored post-doctoral fellows, PhD students and MSc, undergraduate and other students.
Prof. Cohen joins the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the School of Medicine of the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University.
