The TAU-MED Outstanding Students Program concluded with a final meeting, where participants presented the research they conducted over the past academic year.

TAU-MED is a unique summer research program at the Gray School of Medicine that gives medical students the opportunity to work in one of the Faculty's research laboratories during the summer months with the support of a research stipend. Outstanding participants are then invited to continue their research throughout the academic year with extended funding.

This year, four students were selected for the advanced research track: Gil Huja in the laboratory of Prof. Hila May, Gal Ofir in the laboratory of Prof. Karen B. Avraham, Noam Ofer in the laboratory of Dr. Merav Cohen, and Tamar Manzur in the laboratory of Prof. Rina Rosin-Arbesfeld.

At the closing meeting, each student presented the research she conducted during the program. The presentations reflected the high quality of the research, as well as the depth and rigor the students achieved over a relatively short period of time.
