Ruth Ashery-Padan is the new Head of the Yoran Institute for Human Genome Research

Prof. Ruth Ashery-Padan is a Full Professor at the Department of Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, a member of the Sagol School of Neuroscience and holds the Zucker–Sussman Chair for Glaucoma Research. Ashery-Padan completed her MSc and PhD at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and her postdoctoral training at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, Germany. She is the recipient of the Alon Fellowship (VATAT), the Dan David Prize for Young Investigators, the Teva Prize, and the E. Matilda Ziegler Foundation for the Blind Award. She heads the Yoran Institute for Human Genome Research.
