Congratulations to Prof. Debbie Rand to promotion to Full Professor!

Prof. Debbie Rand is an experienced occupational therapist and a researcher in the field of stroke rehabilitation and geriatrics.

She earned her doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Haifa University and completed post-doctoral training at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

After joining the Department of Occupational Therapy in 2010, Prof. Rand served as department chair from 2016-2020.

Prof. Debbie Rand is the Head of the ‘Gaming for Rehabilitation Lab’ and supervises post-doc fellows, doctoral and master students. In her clinical research, she integrates cutting-edge technologies for the assessment and therapeutic interventions.
