Dr. Ido Tavor receives tenure

Dr. Ido Tavor, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Anatomy and Anthropology at the School of Medicine and a member of the Sagol School of Neuroscience. He completed his PhD at Tel Aviv University. He then proceeded to postdoctoral training at the University of Oxford, where he specialized on advanced imaging techniques. He holds an inter-disciplinary lab, combining computational, statistical and cognitive neuroscience methods to study the human brain and behavior. Dr. Tavor studies what underlies behavioral and functional differences between individuals using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He is pioneering Virtual Reality for anatomy teaching for medical students.
