Symposium Description: This educational symposium will be a global, interprofessional opportunity for participants to learn more about the impact of climate change and natural/human disasters on health, especially for vulnerable populations. In addition, it will provide information on how different health professions view their roles involving climate change and disaster management. Finally, current teaching methods will be discussed in relation to to what skills and knowledge healthcare professionals should possess to plan and be ready when disasters occur.
