Meet Our New Faculty Member: Dr. Danan-Gotthold Miri
Welcome!
Dr. Danan-Gotthold began her academic journey by earning a B.Sc in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben Gurion University. She then pursued an M.Sc at the Weizmann Institute of Science under the guidance of Prof.Rotem Sorek.
Her Ph.D studies were completed at Bar Ilan University, supervised by Prof. Erez Levanon, and were funded by the prestigious Azrieli Fellowship. Following this, she conducted her post-doctoral research at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, supervised by Prof. Sten Linnarsson, with support from the esteemed EMBO long-term scholarship and The Council for Higher Education (VATAT) Program.
After her post-doctoral fellowship, Miri continued her research at the Weizmann Institute of Science, joining Prof. Orly Reiner lab for a one-year bridge position.
