Biography

Prof. Gabriel Chodick, PhD, MHA earned an MSc and PhD degrees in Epidemiology from Tel Aviv University, where he also completed his Master's degree in Health Administration from the School of Management. He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the School of Public Health, UNC at Chapel Hill and completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD. 

Prof. Chodick was a co-founder of the Maccabi Research Institute (Maccabitech) and the Department of Epidemiology & Database Research at Maccabi Healthcare Services HMO. He served as Maccabitech’s board member for the Health Care System Research Network (HCSRN), a national research organization of integrated health systems, and led the organization’s work scientific collaborations. Prof. Chodick was responsible for oversight of epidemiologists and biostatisticians producing multiple funded real-world data research projects.
