Congratulations to Dr Asaf Madi, Department of Pathology, and Dr Nidal Muhanna, from the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery, Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, for being awarded the Single Cell Analysis of Human Disease from the Suzanne Eichinger-Henke Donation for their research project entitled: Tumor infiltrating T cell populations in checkpoint blockade responsive murine models of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC)
 
Congratulations to Dr Ran Elkon, Department of Human Molecular Genetics & Biochemistry, and Prof. Boaz Weisz, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Sheba Medical Center, and Dr Oren Pleniceanu for being awarded the Single Cell Analysis of Human Disease from the Suzanne Eichinger-Henke Donation for their research project entitled: Characterizing the transcriptomic landscape of human kidney stem cells in amniotic fluid 
 

The Suzanne Eichinger-Henke Donation is generously supporting a venture of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, to promote excellence in research between basic scientists (Preclinical Faculty of the Sackler School of Medicine) and hospital-based MDs and PhDs (with academic appointment at the Sackler School of Medicine) in the field of single cell analysis and human disease. This year the Research Fund provided two seed money research grants for the amount of up to 40,000 NIS, supporting fundamental and translational research into the causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease using single cell analysis.
