Elhanan Borenstein's research on the Dog Aging Project is in the news
With researchers from the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences

The Dog Aging Project  has been formally launched.

 

This is an extremely large-scale project, funded initially by a $17M NIH grant, aiming to understand how genes, lifestyle, and environment influence aging and healthspan in dogs, with application to human health).

 

Prof. Elhanan Borenstein is one of the researchers on this U19 grant. He is leading all the microbiome analysis, as well as multi-omic data integration.
