Chaya Mushka (Mushki) Fridman is awarded a Clore Scholarship

Chaya Mushka (Mushki) Fridman is awarded a Clore Scholarship

Mushki has a bachelor degree in Medical laboratory sciences from "Hadassah academic college - Jerusalem". In 2018, Mushki joined Dr. Dor Salomon’s laboratory in the Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology to study novel antibacterial toxins as a Masters student. She then continued to pursue a Ph.D. in the Salomon laboratory. During this time, Mushki published two first-author articles in the prestigious journal Nature communications, and she was awarded a Food Security Fellowship by the Manna Center. She was recently named a Clore Scholarship recipient for 2021-2.
