Roy Rabinowitz is awarded the Dan David Prize Scholarship in Molecular Medicine
Ph.D. student in the Department of Molecular Genetics & Biochemistry
Roy received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. (summa cum laude) from Tel Aviv University and is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Molecular Genetics & Biochemistry at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, under the supervision of Professor Dani Offen. He is a fellow of the Teva BioInnovation Fellowship & Mentorship Program, Aufzien Family Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease (APPD) and the Prajs-Drimmer Institute for the Development of Anti-Degenerative Drugs. Roy is studying and developing methods to increase the efficacy and specificity of the CRISPR-Cas system towards personalized gene therapy for genetic diseases.
