Research Grant to promote collaboration between Preclinical Faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine and MDs or PhDs at the Schneider Children's Medical Center

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Karen Avraham, and the Director-General of the Schneider Children's Medical Center, Dr. Efrat Bron-Harlev, are announcing a call to enhance biomedical collaborations between our researchers and clinicians.

The Faculty of Medicine and Schneider Children's Center will provide two research grants in the amount of $20,000 each, supporting fundamental and translational research into the causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease in children. Joint scientific and medical questions, along with a synergistic experimental plan, are prerequisites for a successful application.

Eligible to apply: Preclinical Faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine employed full-time at TAU in collaboration with Schneider Children's Center investigators. Each member can only be part of ONE grant application, whether as PI or collaborator. Collaborators may be from non-TAU institutions but are not eligible to receive funding. The budget will be maintained by the Research Authorities at TAU and the Schneider Children's Medical Center. All grants that pass eligibility rules will be reviewed competitively by an ad hoc review committee chaired by Prof. Ronen Zaidel-Bar and Dana Reznik. Reports will be required at the end of the year of funding.
