Annual MedTech Entrepreneurship Program

This program aims to equip students with comprehensive insights and practical tools essential for navigating the dynamic landscape of medical innovation. Through a series of workshops, seminars and mentorship sessions, participants gain a deep understanding of the intricate workings of the healthcare industry, from ideation to commercialization. By fostering a collaborative environment, the program encourages interdisciplinary exchange and cultivates entrepreneurial mindsets. Additionally, it can provide invaluable networking opportunities with industry experts and potential investors, empowering aspiring innovators to transform their ideas into impactful solutions. The program takes students on a fascinating journey behind the scenes of vanguard medical technologies, as well as those that are under development. Participants have the opportunity to dive into case stories of startups in the worlds of pharma, digital equipment and biotech – and obtain practical tools for turning an idea into a successful startup. The MedTech Entrepreneurship Program was launched in May 2024. Over 200 students applied to take part, with 40 accepted from Medicine, Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Neuroscience and Psychology.
