TAU Medtech Hackathon

We want to bring the worlds of medicine and technology together, starting at the base level. To achieve this, students from a variety of faculties, schools and centres at Tel Aviv University will assemble multidisciplinary teams. These teams, composed of students from Medicine, Engineering, Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Bioinformatics, will take on challenges imposed by the Israeli health system.

Each team will be assigned two mentors, one from the medical world and another from the technological world, each a leader in their field. The teams will pick a challenge from the pool and will attempt to produce a viable solution within a 40 hour timeframe.

Once 40 hours have elapsed, each team will present their solution to our panels of judges in the semi-finals. The winners will then go on to present to in the finals.
