Cancer Genome Structure and Dynamics
Weizmann Institute of Science
JULY 18, 2024
Our genome is constantly undergoing damage due to intrinsic and environmental insults. The workshop will attempt to gain a better understanding of the cellular responses to different types of damage inflicted to the genome with the goal of identifying major vulnerabilities of cancer. We will highlight the effects of large genomic rearrangements (e.g., chromosome missegregations and aneuploidy), gene amplifications, mutations, indels and DNA double stranded breaks. The workshop will include invited lectures from international and local speakers, a Round Table discussion, and a poster session.
