Radioactive waste is defined as material that contains or it is contaminated with radionuclides at concentrations or activities greater than clearance levels

Minimize your waste
Collect radioactive waste in plastic bags and proper containers. Do not accumulate radioactive waste in your lab
Container waste at Sackler building is located at Floor 0 (room in front of the elevators). Ask the keys with “Av bait”
In case the container is full, ask Av bait to close the ring, throw your waste in a new container
In case of a very short half-life isotope (hours), decay your waste 10 half-lives and dispose in a regular trash
