Clinical Interest Clubs
The Clinical Interest Groups Program is dedicated to perpetuating and promoting medical students’ interest in and facilitating clinical exposure to different medical fields during the pre-clinical years. The groups provide a forum in which students can network with other students, mentors, potential employers and colleagues. Through participation in these school-sponsored groups, which offer lectures, workshops OR observation, shadowing and mentoring, students can become more knowledgeable about a particular specialty to assist in career decisions. Each group is directed by a clinical president, a senior doctor who is a specialist in the relevant field, and a student who builds the group’s schedule according to the members’ interests and requests.
Goals:
- Early clinical exposure to different medical fields
- Enhancing the interaction between the different programs in school
- Providing medical students an opportunity to explore different medical fields and network within the larger medical community.
- Volunteering Activity
Sincerely,
Stav Brown and Matan Orgil, Medical Students
