About the School of Graduate Studies
The Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson School of Graduate Studies operates as an academic unit for graduate-level studies within the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. The School of Graduate Studies was founded in 1997 with the goal of training scientists in all fields of biomedical research. The graduate school grants both Master's and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in the medical sciences, health professions, and public health programs. Students are accepted to the graduate school based on the strenght of their academic record and personal interviews.
Throughout their studies, students actively perform multifaceted and multidisciplinary research in a supportive and stimulating environment. The graduate school offers a variety of advanced courses and research opportunities.
At the School of Graduate Studies, students can specialize in one of our many departments, with laboratories located on campus and in affililated hospitals. The 2021 research brochure highlights current research in the Faculty.
Through the School of Health Professions, students can study communication disorders, nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. The School of Public Health offers a range of M.P.H. study options, including health system management, health promotion, occupational and environmental health, and emergency and disaster management.
