Medical Electives for TAU students
The Gray School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University invites motivated TAU medical students to apply for international clinical electives for the 2026-2027 academic year.
We encourage applicants to use the elective to:
- Observe diverse care approaches
- Acquire practical skills
- Bring back ideas to strengthen patient care in Israel
Important: Submit the general application. Acceptance to the program is required before you are placed at any partner institution.

Non-Exchange Electives & VSLO Information
Non-Exchange Electives: Students seeking medical electives outside the exchange program are solely responsible for identifying and securing those opportunities. The Faculty cannot provide advising, administrative assistance, or financial support.
VSLO Access: The Gray School of Medicine participates in VSLO. Submit registration requests via the VSLO Application Link. The Faculty provides minimal assistance regarding VSLO electives.
