Orthodontics
Requirements
The postgraduate orthodontic curriculum fulfills the requirements set forth by the European "Erasmus Project." Requirements for admission to the program include graduation from an accredited dental school, a license to practice dentistry in your country of origin and proficiency in English.
The requirements for the orthodontic certification by Tel Aviv University are the satisfactory completion of:

Research project, submission & defense of a research thesis.
The course of study is a recognized postgraduate specialty program delivered in English that leads to a Certificate (Diploma) in Orthodontics. Candidates who already hold an MSc or PhD may still be required to complete a research project. The Department also provides a Ph.D. track, which involves an additional 2 to 3 years of research and the completion of designated courses.
The next international course in orthodontics will start in May 2026.
Dates and Fees
The duration of the program is 3 academic years (40 weeks per year, 40 hours per week).

Application
Applications are available in English and Hebrew. A personal interview is mandatory.
Candidates accepted to the program will receive details of required items, including instruments, digital camera and lap-top computer. Each resident is required to present with these in his/her possession. All instruction is in English.
