Periodontology
The Department of Periodontology was established in 1977, offering an exclusive periodontal undergraduate curriculum and a 2-year postgraduate course leading to a Diploma in Periodontics. Since 1977, the Department of Periodontology has continued to grow into one of the leading periodontal departments of Israel. In 1991, the Gerald A. Niznick Chair of Implantology was established, adding osseointegration and clinical implantology into the Department's curriculum and research activities.
Our Department educates and trains pre-doctoral and postgraduate students within the framework of contemporary periodontics. We provide optimal comprehensive periodontal care for diverse populations and engage in clinical and laboratory-based research.
