• Increased gag reflex
• Hypersensitivity to anesthetics 

The clinic is designed to handle a variety of issues that arise in connection with dental treatment, such as fear and anxiety, increased gag reflex, perceived suffocation, fainting during treatment, hypersensitivity to anesthetics, etc. The clinic staff includes dentists who are authorized to use hypnosis and professionals from the behavioral sciences. The goal of this clinic is to teach patients coping strategies that will enable them to continue dental treatment. The methods used are based in behavioral science and medicine and includes gradual exposure, relaxation, hypnosis, and laughing gas.
