Synopsis
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, given the lack of proven treatment, an array of investigational therapies were used to treat patients. Some were provided as compassionate or support care and others were considered clinical trials. The line between the two was not always clear. In this conference, we focus on different ethical angles in the clinical research conducted towards achieving an effective and safe therapy for the disease by four distinguished scientists.
