The Tabletop Freeze Dryer, CHRIST alpha is designed for freeze-drying of solid or liquid products in ampoules, vials or dishes. Conversion of product temperature and vacuum according to the vapour pressure curve above ice. Sublimation occurs when a frozen sample goes directly to the gaseous phase without passing through the liquid phase. Freeze drying samples stabilizes them for storage, preservation, or shipping. The freeze-dryer is suitable for materials such as bacteria and virus cultures, blood plasma, serum fractions, antibodies, vaccines, pharmaceutical products, plant extracts, inorganic materials and nanoparticles.
