The Transgenic Mice, Cryopreservation and Assisted Reproduction (TMCR) Unit

The TMCR Unit offers specialized reproduction-related services. We perform cryopreservation and IVF procedures to reconstitute and re-derive mouse mutant lines. Additionally, we undertake customized projects tailored to specific needs of both Tel Aviv University researchers and external clients, including conducting experiments, consulting, and analyzing data.

The unit operates two laboratories that are fully-equipped with state-of-the-art technology: a “dirty lab” and a “clean” lab, located within the SPF animal facility. We support all aspects of handling mice, gametes, and embryos, as well as experimental settings.

Our team consists of two full-time PhD-trained technicians.
