Zambia-TAU Partnership in Public Health
In 2015, Tel Aviv University School of Public Health (TAU-SPH) received a generous donation from the reminder of the Jewish community in Zambia, the donation supports academic cooperation between TAU-SPH and University of Copperbelt Michael Chilufya Sata School of Medicine (CBU-SOM) in Ndola, Zambia.
As of yet the partnership has included:
- Dedication of the Zambian Jewish Community Public Health Wing at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler Faculty of Medicine
- Zambian participants attend the Summer Insitute of Advanced Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at TAU-SPH
- Creation of a Masters of Public Health (MPH) program at CBU-SOM and guest teaching by TAU-SPH faculty members
