School of Public Health


The mission of the School of Public Health (SPH) at the Faculty of Medical and Health Science, Tel Aviv University (TAU) is to improve the public’s health through learning, scientific research, and communication. To achieve this goal, the School provides the highest level of education and research opportunities to public health scientists, medical practitioners, and leaders.


Through a commitment to education, innovation, leadership, and research, the School's priorities are to shape new ideas in the field and communicate them effectively in order to positively serve the changing health needs of Israel and the world.

 

The School's multidisciplinary approach encompasses knowledge and expertise of faculty and students across many academic disciplines including biological, quantitative, and social sciences, as well as fostering key collaborations with other academic institutions in Israel and abroad, hospitals, clinics, HMOs, and several world-renowned research institutes.

 

Hebrew is the language of instruction at the School of Public Health at TAU.

The Faculty of Medical and Health Science


The Faculty of Medical and Health Science is the Israel's largest institute of higher medical education. The Faculty consists of six schools: The School of Medicine, The School of Dental Medicine, The School of Continuing Medical Education, The Graduate School, The School of Public Health, and The School of Health Professions.

 

The Faculty of Medicine is committed to excellence. It is the Faculty's priority to develop the skills of all our students to continue learning, and thus reach their maximum potential.
