The Symposium of Infections and Cancer, hosted by the Stanley Steyer Institute for Cancer Epidemiology and Research, took place on February 29, 2016 at Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. Faculty, physicians, and students attended the presentations given by the following speakers: Dr. Ravit Bassal, Prof. Ziv Ben-Ari, Prof. Gabriel Chodick, Dr. Yael Raz, Prof. Gustavo Malinger, Prof. Elizabeth Miller, Dr. Zohar Mor, Dr. Khitam Muhsen, and Dr. Barbara Silverman. Among topics included in the symposium were: epidemiology of cervical cancer, effectiveness of HPV vaccines, gastric cancer, HCV epidemiology, and more. The full symposium schedule is available here.
