The Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Tel Aviv University's School of Public Health is dedicated to research and the training of graduate and medical students in public health, epidemiology, and preventive medicine.
The Department combines expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and data management to advance research aimed at preventing disease, reducing suffering, and improving population health and quality of life.
The Department offers training opportunities at the master's (MSc), doctoral (PhD), and postdoctoral levels. Faculty members conduct research across a wide range of fields, including infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and maternal and child health, as well as other areas of epidemiology, public health, and healthcare.
In addition to their research activities, Department faculty members teach courses in several graduate programs at Tel Aviv University, the School of Medicine's New York State/American Program, and the School of Continuing Medical Education.
