Fusion FX7
Star Light RGB II is an epi-illumination module with powerful red, green and blue LED. The module is designed to image a wide range of fluorescence samples and applications such as multiplex western blots, bioluminescence, proteins expression and gene expression for the life science research.
Features
The third generation of the fully-automated top-system for chemiluminescence and fluorescence with high-resolution, cooled camera. Fully-automated measurements for easy use and optimum image acquisition quality. The Universal configuration works with any kind of fluorescent dyes with emission starting from 450 nm such as SYBR GreenTM, Sypro OrangeTM, or Texas RedTM.
· Higher sensitivity and reduced exposure time compared to traditional film
· Resolution 2688X2200.
· Post capture image processing (crop, rotation, contrast, and brightness adjustment) to enhance images for qualitative purposes
· Software to analyze and quantify images, includes automatic lane determination and band detection, background subtraction
APPLICATIONS: The principal technique involves running and comparison of 2D polyacrylamide gels, followed typically by mass spectrometry for identification of the protein spots cut from the gels. The comparative nature of the technique allows identification of protein expression changes across different samples.
· Highly sensitive detection of chemiluminescence and western blots
· Protein-fluorescence detection on membranes and in SDS-PAGE gels, fluorescence-multiplex western blotting, 1D and 2D gel analyses of nucleic acids and proteins
· NIR fluorescent dyes
· Luciferase assays
· Molecular weight analyses and quantification
· Gel documentation and nucleic acid fluorescence detection of agarose gels with fluorophores
· Detection and documentation of protein gels stained with Coomassie Blue, Poisson, silver staining.
· Imaging, documentation and quantitative analysis of dot blots and microtitration plates.
· Colony Counting.
