Leica CM1950 Cryostat

This cryostat is used for sectioning of frozen tissue sample. Benefits of cryosection are that not only its sample preparation time is shorter than paraffin sample preparation, but also the cryosection can be used for immunohistochemistry or in situ analysis with better antigenicity.

This cryostat has the ability to section 0.5μm to 300μm in thickness and can be cooled down to -40°C.
