ZEISS Lightsheet 7 revolutionizes imaging with its cutting-edge Light Sheet Fluorescence Microscopy (LSFM) technology. This system allows gentle imaging of living organisms, tissues, and cells over extended periods. Lightsheet 7 captures large optically cleared specimens with subcellular resolution, adapting to various clearing methods through dedicated optics and sample chambers. It employs high quantum efficiency detectors, enabling observation of rapid processes at low illumination levels without compromising sample integrity. The specialized sample chamber provides an ideal experimental environment, offering heating, cooling, and CO2 control. Lightsheet 7 accommodates specimens up to 2 cm in size, supporting refractive indices between 1.33 and 1.58 and working with various clearing solutions. It captures detailed images of organoids, spheroids, organs, brains, and other samples with subcellular precision. The system's adaptive optics and sample chambers ensure precise adjustments to the refractive index for optimal imaging conditions. Intuitive software tools allow customization of imaging parameters, and with patented Pivot Scan technology, Lightsheet 7 delivers artifact-free optical sections, ensuring superior image quality for diverse applications in microscopy and life sciences. Lightsheet 7 comes equipped with a range of objectives, including the water 10× and 20× and clearing 20× (with refractive indices of 1.38, 1.45, and 1.53 respectively), allowing users to choose the most suitable option for their specific imaging needs. Additionally, the system features lasers operating at wavelengths of 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, and 638 nm, providing flexibility and precision in fluorescence imaging. In terms of sample size, Lightsheet 7 offers water and clearing chambers measuring 13x15x10 mm² and 12x13x10 mm² respectively, ensuring compatibility with a variety of specimen sizes and shapes.
