The Zeiss LSM 710
The Zeiss LSM 710 laser scanning confocal microscope is equipped with a 32-channel linear detector designed for spectral analysis. It also features two adjacent photomultiplier (PMT) channels that can be combined to monitor dynamic changes in multiple fluorophores. This microscope includes modules for advanced confocal applications such as Recovery After Photobleaching (FRAP), multiple time series, and tile scan. The available laser lines are 458 nm, 488 nm, and 514 nm multiline Argon laser, 561 nm diode-pumped solid-state laser, and 633 nm HeNe laser. The microscope objectives consist of 10x dry, 20x dry, W, and 63x oil. For nuclei staining, it is recommended to use Draq5.
Applications:
• Multicolor imaging
• Tile scan
• Multi position imaging
• FRAP
