Orthopedics Department

The Department of Orthopedics at the Tel Aviv University includes 100 clinical physicians from six affiliated hospitals. The department runs teaching programs and academic activities in the following areas:

  • trauma
  • sports injuries
  • pediatric orthopedics
  • joint replacement
  • spinal disorders
  • metabolic bone diseases
  • shoulder diseases
  • hand, foot and ankle
  • orthopedic oncology

 

The Department of Orthopedics at Sheba Medical Center offers several research opportunities for our graduate students. Clinical and basic science research programs are conducted in the Shoulder and Elbow Unit. The Hip Joint Replacement Unit offers research opportunities in the fields of cell biology and biomechanics.
