The TAU-CBRC-Gray BRCA Research Initiative for BRCA-Related Malignancies is supported by the Gray Foundation, a philanthropic organization committed to advancing BRCA science and improving outcomes for individuals and families affected by BRCA mutations and related cancers.

Founded by Mindy and Jon Gray, the Gray Foundation's commitment to BRCA research is deeply personal. The Foundation's focus on BRCA- associated cancers was inspired by the loss of Mindy's sister, Faith Basser, to BRCA-associated ovarian cancer at the age of 44.

Since making its first grant in 2015, the Gray Foundation has supported a growing network of leading scientists and institutions working to accelerate research, improve treatment, and raise awareness for individuals and families affected by BRCA mutations and related cancers.

The Foundation places particular emphasis on advancing research in prevention, early detection, and interception of BRCA- associated cancers, while fostering collaborations that bring together leading researchers across institutions and disciplines.

Its portfolio of initiatives includes major investments in BRCA research and cross-institutional team science, including the Basser Center for BRCA at the University of Pennsylvania, the Gray BRCA Team Science Program, and the Gray BRCA Pre-Cancer Atlas.

The partnership with Tel Aviv University reflects a shared commitment to advancing innovative BRCA research and building strong, collaborative research communities. Through the TAU-CBRC-Gray BRCA Research Initiative, the Foundation's support is helping create new opportunities for discovery, collaboration, and scientific exchange in Israel and beyond.
