Roni Brudno is a PhD candidate in the Gray School of Medical Sciences, conducting his research under the supervision of Prof. Gil Ast. He holds a BSc in Bioinformatics and an MSc in Human Genetics and Computational Medicine.

His study aims to elucidate how variations in chromatin organization and 3D genome structure influence gene regulation in neurodevelopment. By utilizing advanced computational pipelines, the project will map these complex genomic interactions to better understand the underlying etiology of autism.
The outcomes of the research are expected to provide deeper insights into the structural genomic mechanisms underlying brain function and development, ultimately bridging the gap between bioinformatics and functional neuroscience. |
