Meet Omer Ben Barak-Dror
2025 Sieratzki Scholarship Awardee
Omer Ben Barak-Dror is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, conducting her research under the supervision of Prof. Yuval Nir in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology.
She holds a dual BSc in Biomedical Engineering and Biology with an emphasis on Neuroscience, as well as an MSc in Neuroscience.
Her research focuses on developing a non-invasive, closed-eye pupillometry system using shortwave infrared (SWIR) imaging to monitor anesthesia depth and nociception.
